Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Reelsinary ("we", "us", the "Service") turns Instagram reels and carousels into a map of the places they mention. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

How we use it

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share the content you submit only with the processors needed to run the Service (Supabase for hosting/storage; Apify, Google Gemini and Google Places for extraction and geocoding; Cloudflare for hosting). Maps you choose to share are accessible to anyone with the link.

Product analytics

Product analytics. We record how the service is used (for example: a reel was submitted, a map was created or opened, an edit was made) to improve Reelsinary. These records are tied to your account or map identity, processed on our legitimate interest, and contain no message content, captions, or email addresses. We use PostHog (EU-hosted) as our processor. We do not set analytics cookies or store analytics identifiers on your device, and we do not use this data for advertising.

Retention & deletion

We keep your maps until you delete them or request deletion. To delete your data, or to revoke the Instagram connection, remove the app from your Instagram settings (Settings → Apps and websites) or contact us at the email below and we will delete your maps and associated identifiers.
